Sourced from the finest orange groves planted in the middle of the lush Amazon jungle, the oranges are sprayed with heavy pesticides to wipe out any pesky little bugs and then flown from South America in a large cargo plane to ensure they are fresh on arrival. Funkita then sort carefully through the stock throwing out about half of it, mainly because they aren’t perfectly round in shape, before undertaking an extremely intensive industrial transformation process to crush the oranges and make their own eco-fabric. It’s a win-win-win for the customers, the environmental cred, and the pesticide and aviation fuel supplier.
